Create A Shopify Dropshipping Store In 1 hour (Step by Step)
What is Shopify?
In simple words, Shopify is an all in one platform that allows you to create and run your store on its platform. It makes creating eCommerce stores super easy and ensures an amazing uptime. Moreover, it provides you with tons of apps that would further help in increasing the conversion rate of your store.
10 Steps to Create an eCommerce Store with Shopify (Step by Step) with Oberlo / Aliexpress?
Step 1: Click Here and Sign up for the Free 90 Day Trial (Golden Chance) and choose your domain name.
Step 2: Once you’ve clicked on ‘Start Free Trial‘ then just provide the information regarding your store and you.
Step 3: After you’ve provided all the necessary details, you should see the screen like below, then just click on the “Apps” section on the left.
Step 4: Now, we need to install an app called Oberlo for Importing products onto our stores. For this, click on ‘Visit Shopify Apps Store’ after clicking on apps and search for Oberlo.
What does Oberlo do?
Oberlo is an app that allows you to import products directly on to your store either from its dashboard or from Aliexpress by Installing the Oberlo Chrome extension. You can literally copy and paste any product on Aliexpress or Oberlo and sell it at your own price. When pricing products, I would recommend you to have at least a 50% profit.
Step 5: Open the app and click on ‘Explore it’ and now you’ll be able to import any of the products from here to your Shopify store directly. Simply click on the “Add to Import List” button to the product which you’d like to import.
Another way of Importing products is via Aliexpress, for that you would need to install a Chrome extension of Oberlo and then go to Aliexpress’s product link and click on the extension and then click on ‘Add To Import’
Step 6: Once you click on the “Add to Import List” button, you’ll be redirected to a page from where you can edit your product page, set up your product pricing, description, tags, and photos you’d like to import and much more. Make sure that your description is good and doesn’t look spammy. This way, you can add as many products as possible onto your Shopify store.
Step 7: In order to get orders, we need to set up a way using which we can accept payments. For this go to ‘Settings‘ and click on ‘Payment Providers‘, you can connect your Paypal account to it, it would take a few seconds to connect. If you don’t have a PayPal account, do not worry just go and create one, it’s super easy to create.
Step 8: After this, you can go on to Settings again and change the shipping prices, by going on ‘Shipping‘, I would recommend you to set it a ‘Free Shipping‘ initially Worldwide because you don’t want this to negatively affect your conversion rate initially.
Step 9: Now, you can make some changes to your theme, or change the entire theme by Clicking on ‘Themes‘ and clicking on the ‘customize‘ option. This will allow you to change the logos, color scheme, the home page, and much more. There are tons of free images available, you can easily customize the theme according to your needs.
Step 10: Once you’ve edited your theme, the next step is to create some legal pages like Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy. You can find pre-done templates of this page by going to Settings > Legal. After this, simply click on “Create from Template” on each one them and now you can copy and paste these pages to your website. After this simply go on “Pages” and copy and paste pages one by one. And be sure to include these pages at your footer or the top menu.
Legal Pages Importance:
It is necessary to have legal pages on your website, it will allow you to get approved for most of the paid advertisement, and also, this is considered to be a good business practice.
Once this has been done, start your subscription (Free for 90 Days) and then start running traffic to your stores for getting sales.
How Do I Get Traffic To My Shopify Store?
I prefer Free Traffic over Paid Traffic. YouTube is the Free traffic source I’ve learned to utilize for making money from my Shopify stores. I also run paid Facebook ads but due to corona I had to stop running them. Below is the video that was meant to the paid users of Shopify Ninja Masterclass, but now I’ve decided to reveal it for free to the people who read this blog specifically.
